So I havent had the time to sit down and write about what's been going on so once again I am sorry that it has been so long.

Colten is 5 Months he is getting SO big and full of personality. He first started smiling at 6 weeks

{6 weeks}

He is one happy baby. Everything has been going GREAT with us. Settling in our new house and getting Colten finally on somewhat of a "schedule" He likes to lay and take naps in his crib now. I used to have to go in drives because he would only sleep in his car seat.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mommy. Colten is so much fun and such a sweet baby. He changes everyday. We are very blessed he is here and makes our life so much happier.

Our Summer.

Heyy it's been quit a while since I last posted anything due to our crazy/fun summer. So i'll just tell what our life has been like the passed 4 months.

MAY: I had my baby shower thrown by Aunt Amy. It was so much fun and the baby got pretty much everything he needed! It was great, and loved seeing everyone who came to support my fun day.

JUNE: We finally BOUGHT A HOUSE!! located in Nampa just on the outside of town. Greenhurst/Happy Valley. It's a cute 3 bedroom 21/2 bathroom 1730 sq ft. home. We got an amazing deal on the house and I am so excited to be able to call it "Our Home" I threw Erics neice [my neice in-law] who is my age, a baby shower. She is having a boy and due just a week before me. They're going to be best buds. Fathers day was in June and my mom had this cute idea to pass around my dad for the day. We made shirts that said "Hands off to DAD" but each family had a different color. Our date with my dad was to go get pedicures, so Eric and Dad enjoyed a fun hour of attention from all the ladies getting pedis.

JULY: Eric and I were sealed in the Boise Temple July 8th. It was a very special day. Our family who was able to come were all there to support us on this day. One of Erics brothers wasnt able to make it because they were in Nauvoo for the pageant they put on the month of July, so they called us up that following Sunday and asked us if they could fly us down to Nauvoo and go through the temple with them and watch them in the pageant, of course we did! Who would turn down that fabulous opportunity?? So we went from Thursday-Saturday and it too was such a neat experience. We just got back from McCall from celebrating the yearly Christensen "family reunion" at this beautiful cabin belonging to my sister-in-law Kim's family. It is so much fun to go and relax up there. Boating, Jet Skiing, and being with the family is so nice, it's like our own mini piece of paradise. My parents were able to come up for a couple days to spend with us up there as well, which was so nice to have them there. They really enjoyed themselves and the company of the Christensen Family.

August is coming up and I am anxiously preparing/waiting for this little guy to come! August 29th is our due date, but i'm secretly hoping he comes on his own a little sooner! His room is somewhat put together just waiting on a few things to get the final touches up. I am also in my Best Friend Taylers wedding August 13th, which is in McCall. So excited to spend her special day with her and be apart of it!

We FINALLY had our ultrasound to find out if it will be a boy or a girl. It was such a fun experience to watch the ultrasound tech point everything out and tell us what everything is and watch our little guy move around. My dr. has a 4-D ultrasound so these are some awesome pictures.

Eric and I didnt find out at the dr. what we are having. We patiently waited for a couple hours because we thought it would be fun to open it up in front of our family. So after our appointment we went to Baby Gap, Eric picked out a boy outfit and I picked out a girl outfit. We had the gender sealed away in an envelope. We took both outfits up to the cashier and explained to her that this was a surprise to us too, so if she could wait till we left the store and then open up the envelope to see if it was a GIRL or BOY then pick the outfit according to the gender and wrap it up. I left my card with her and she did it all. She met us in the other section and handed us the pretty pretty wrapped box, in a bag with the envelope sealed away with the outfit. And we were on our way to the Lunch we set up for our family.

Eric was determined it was a girl and I was pretty sure it was a boy because my passed two dreams i dreamed about a little boy.

We opened the box together in front of everyone and there was the little outfit Eric had picked out for our little guy Ü

We are so excited and we cant wait till he gets here!! Eric jokes [but really wants] Jon Wayne Christensen .. because of my dad Jon & his dads name is Wayne. He has my dad set on it and everybody else. But we arent set on any names yet so if you have any cute ideas for a name throw them out there!!

I really like Crue, Cruz, and Cash .. "C" names IDK why!

VALENTINES HISTORY

Legend has it that Valentine was a priest who served during third century Rome. There was an Emperor at that time by the name of Claudius II. Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those that were married. With this thought in mind he outlawed marriage for young men in hopes of building a stronger military base. Supposedly, Valentine, decided this decree just wasn't fair and chose to marry young couples secretly. When Emperor Claudius II found out about Valentine's actions he had him put to death.
Another legend has it that Valentine was an imprisoned man who fell in love with his jailor's daughter. Before he was put to death he sent the first 'valentine' himself when he wrote her a letter and signed it 'Your Valentine', words still used on cards today.
Perhaps we'll never know the true identity and story behind the man named St. Valentine, but this much is for sure...February has been the month to celebrate love for a long time, dating clear back to the Middle Ages. In fact, Valentines ranks second only to Christmas in number of greeting cards sent.
Another valentine gentleman you may be wondering about is Cupid (Latin cupido, "desire"). In Roman mythology Cupid is the son of Venus, goddess of love. His counterpart in Greek mythology is Eros, god of love. Cupid is often said to be a mischievous boy who goes around wounding both gods and humans with his arrows, causing them to fall in love.

After a year of trying and patiently waiting it is official.. 9 weeks along and going strong. We are so excited to finally have a little one. Yes, we will find out what we will be having, because I dont see how I could last 9 months, I can barely last 20 weeks without finding out.

My first apt was January 10th and we were able to hear the heartbeat! I found out my Due Date will be August 29th.

I will keep you all updated with everything along the way!

My cute sister Christen had her 5th baby the beginning of January. Her name is Bethany Lynn Huot. My mom and me are headed up to Utah February 1-5 to visit and play with her. I am so excited to see the new addition to the family. Christen keeps us updated with the cutest pictures. I cant wait to see her in person!

I have so many more pictures to post for the ending of our summer. We have just been non-stop busy since we got home from Vegas.

Week 1: McCall with Christensen Family, Masons Farewell

Week 2: Jeff, Heidi Came to Visit, and we all helped my dad at the Boise Fair, Eric and I got the night shift job, so we had to stay up with the cows all night and clean up after them. (i dont know how we got pulled into that one... but it was a neat experience. Eric and I will never forget it) and with all of our help dad got amazing rewards!!!!

It has been non-stop chaos. And we're happy we're back home. Eric starts school this week at BSU and he just has one semester left!!! He graduates in December. YAY.

Red Rock Canyon

Saturday afternoon, Eric and I decided to do something fun and we went up to Red Rock Canyon. It was so neat. We hiked up the rocks and saw chipmunks, and lizards. It was a perfect day .. it was overcast and it wasnt so hot. If you ever come to Vegas.. be sure to visit the Red Rock Canyon!

I decided to be creative and I downloaded a program which allows me to design and create wedding photo guestbooks. I am currently working on my best friends guestbook and I just wanted to share so far what it will look like. If you know anyone getting married or you are getting married this is something to think about. I either use ENGAGEMENT PICTURES or PICTURES THROUGHOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP. also, if you have songs and can type out lyrics to put underneath the picture or spread it out so it's not on every page. I can also do baby books, missionary books, cookbooks. any type of book you want i can do it :). it's fun!! and check out the book so far.

Vegas Update

LONE MOUNTAIN!!! Eric was so excited to climb this mountain. It was steep!! I was so nervous I didnt want to climb down. But we made it to the top and it was awesome!! It's probably going to be a saturday event each week.

Eric loves the UFC fights so we went over to the Aliente Casino next to where we live and sat in a really nice Lounge. The seats were so comfortable and nice. They were fun fights!

Eric went to the airport to pick up Frances and ended up running into his childhood friend Jake Bower and his wife Rachel. They were going to have to wait for 3-4 hours so they came to hang out with us. We went to dinner and maybe did some gambling. :)

So this is our Vegas Adventure so far. It's been fun. Vegas is huge and it will take probably until we come back to Idaho to figure everything out. Miss everybody back at home!! Love you all.

wow, time flies when you're having fun!

January-Alot of city league basketball games. And i went BRUNETTE

February- A very happy valentines day (eric got his first pedicure, went with blue and orange nail polish for BSU)

March- Beginning of March Madness (basketball) I almost won the bracket!! (james beat me) James and Eric got second place in basketball nampa city league

April- Got a new job at Planet Beach Contempo Spa

May- Hasnt started but ... Getting ready to pack our bags and move to Las Vegas for the summer.

Erics dad Wayne owns a bank called first security bank of nevada. He offered Eric an internship/job for the summer. This helps Eric get his masters and gives him a great experience. Right now he's debating if he wants to become a fireman or go into the financial, bank industry. He isnt sure how he feels about being behind a desk for the rest of his life, so this is a great experience for him to see if that's something he would be interested in!

Hey Guys

Sorry it's taken us forever to get on here and give you some information about us!

First off i just wanted to thank everyone for the gifts and all the support that you gave us during the wedding. It was an amazing experience and im happy i got to share it with the people i love most.

Eric is just finishing up school at BSU. He'll be graduating later this spring. He's studying finance and pulling a double major with accounting. He wanted to go be a fireman, even though i LOVE them . . i love eric more and want him to be safe. We have a house between meridian and boise we are renting until april, then moving in with one of our parents to save some money.

As for me im cleaning houses and teaching dance. Just little jobs here and there to keep the money coming! Ü

Anyways hopefully ill keep you guys updated more and get some pictures up here!!!
